Happy New Year!

2005 Major Events:
KP started a new job working for his old Digineer manager. Less travel, more hands on experience, still gets to be a generalist, not a specialist.
The whole family took a vacation to Orlando and discovered that in January, even Florida can be quite cold.
Chief started his orthodontics routine.
KP ended his orthodontics after […]

I’ve been told to expect a crowd on Tuesday night. Tomorrow starts the “winter diet season”. I’ve spent the last couple weeks prepping my location for the onslaught of new members.
Personally I wouldn’t join in January. Its all so stereotypical. I’m not the least bit stereotypical.
I’m just a suburban Mom of a boy and […]

Its official. I’m old.
I’ve always wanted just once in my life to get dressed up on New Years Eve and go someplace nice. Not anymore. I just want to stay home in my comfy flannel pjs and watch TV.
Not only am I old but apparently quite boring too.

Christmas Pajamas

This one is going out to Grandma Stacy for the new Pajamas

Thanks!!

Back from MI

And whew, good to be in own house but enjoyed spending time with family. Pictures are in the gallery. Babies that were very new last year are cruising around this year like there’s nothing to it, so some things change a lot.
First was Saturday at Sly’s Grandparents in St. Louis, MI, then my […]

This is just too good not to blog about.
KP goes to the Y early three days a week. He wears his workout clothes to the gym, does his workout and then gets ready for work. This morning he accidently took a pair of my jeans. I have snickered all morning about this. He’s breaking […]

Cinergy Holiday Train Display.

Yesterday I burned a vacation day and we took the day off to go downtown to see Cinergy’s 60th annual Holiday Train display in Downtown Cincinnati. Then we had some lunch and shopped a little in the downtown Macy’s. Not bad for a day off.
Pics are in the Gallery and Chief practiced with […]

Weekend recap

Saturday night we hired a kid sitter and went to KP’s office Christmas party. The party was a good opportunity for adult interaction on my part. In a repeat from the summer party, we didn’t win anything in the drawings. Yeah yeah so the money from the raffle tickets benefitted the Free Store Food Bank. […]

Snow!

Well that was exciting. They’ve been warning us about snow (SNOW!) all day today. We’re far enough north that we get a decent snowstorm once or twice a winter, but still Southern enough that everyone freaks out about it. Which makes the whole thing vastly entertaining.
It used to be that the freaking […]

Remember the 16,000 Christmas light guy from Mason we posted about a few days ago? The lights number 25,000 this year. Here’s the article from today’s Enquirer.
Thanks again to Lori for the heads up.
