My grandpa died today. I’m leaving in the morning with the kidlets and heading to MI for the funeral. KP is staying behind to start his new job and keep things going around here.

I took Chief the other day for his annual eye exam. Since getting glasses a couple years ago, he’s needed an adjustment to his prescription every year. Jazz was happy to see me yesterday. Very happy. So happy he drooled all over himself and me in his happiness. Yuck. He’s a sweet cat but sometimes I wonder if he’s all there.
