Anyway I was pleasantly suprised at how clean and well ordered most of the Fountain Square and Riverfront areas were. I’ve spent […]

A must-read
Every once in a while I am tempted to place a long and well-reasoned rant about the current situation in Iraq and how the major media and everyone else it seems is just. not. getting it. Then I read something like this and realize someone else already has.
Excerpt:
What if President Franklin Roosevelt, seeing this […]

Papa and DeeDee volunteered to come down and stay with the kidlets while we went somewhere for our anniversary. It will be 14 years on the Wednesday. We decided to just go to downtown Cinti, using the frequent stay points KP has racked up to stay free at the Hilton. We had fun. We especially […]

Buddies for Princess

I heard her saying “hey girl” when she wanted their attention. I reminded her what their names were. She gave me a […]

Annual Assessment time
As I mentioned below, we had our annual homeschool assessment this week. The assessor said we’re doing a good job and that Chief is progressing really nicely. I thought we were OK but its always nice to hear it from someone else.
Here’s the plan for 5th grade:
Tapestry of Grace Year 3 for literature, history, […]

I left KP with the Wild Things (Princess and Chief) this morning and went to B&N . I got a latte and a book and settled down in a comfy chair. Cheap therapy. I suppose spending the morning at B&N is a wiser decision than running away from home which is what I was considering […]
