BTW…

Salt Dough isn’t very tasty.

Latest school project

We made the USA out of salt dough. The toothpicks mark major landforms and early American settlements. We’ll paint it next week after its completely try.

Jazz wanted to study the map

Meijer as a part of the food chain

This afternoon I was making cookies with Princess. I asked her where we get milk and eggs. She responded “from the store Mommy” in a tone one might use for someone a little slow. Maybe I should have asked which animals give us milk and eggs?

Need… more… power!

I have more stuff to plugin than I have outlets so this is going to lead to an outing tomorrow to staples. I already have one surge protector but the home office setup has now outstretched it’s meager supply of eight outlets.
Since Sly’s office is in the same room, we’re getting a little worried […]

Strange Tea Party

Walked into Peanuts bedroom today and trying to figure out what happened here. Near as I can make out. Baby, Hello Kitty, two Barbies, and Rock Lake Bear are enjoying a nice picnic.
Baby came in a nice pink onesie. Hello Kitty and Barbies are styling in their formal dresses. Unfortunately Rock […]

Back from Austin

And another week of training. I’m not gonna gloat. Yes it was warm, but we had Sun for only one day and it was rainy and damp the rest of the time. I did have time to do the things I like about Austin:
KP’s favorite things about Austin:
10. Palm Trees
9. […]

Lori loaned me three of the […]

Got ‘em pegged right

Lilek’s column today is about the format on Nick. Pretty funny if you’ve spent any time watching Nick and believe me we have watched more than our fair share. Its the same script no matter the time of day or what show is on.
His daughter Gnat is the same age as Princess-born the same […]

A long way home

When we left co-op at 1 p.m. it was snowing pretty hard but the roads were fine in Lebanon. I went to the bank and started home. The road crews hadn’t yet salted Route 123 so it was pretty slow going. The kidlets asked to stop at the library on the way home. My theory […]

In my defense

KP wasn’t completely right-I schedule an hour for math and literature. History and science get 30 minutes each. The 15 minute rule is working very nicely thank you for things like spelling, handwriting and grammar. Nothing like a ticking timer to get a previously scatter brained kid to focus. He knows that anything that isn’t […]
