On the road again
KP is on his way to Terre Haute this afternoon for some catastrophic emergency. He threw some clothes in a bag and was gone. I know I’ll get used to this at some point but its still very weird.

Can this vacuum be saved?
My less than a year old vacuum decided not to suck anything up anymore. Either that or I have spotless carpets—yeah right! Bad KP
On our way home from eating lunch out, we saw a boy selling bouquets of roses by the side of the road. KP’s comment was something about not needing to buy roses because he wasn’t in trouble. He doesn’t realize how that comment almost necessitated him going back for a bouquet!

Bandwidth Monitoring
In about 30 minutes I installed MRTG on a win2k box and have it monitoring the internet gateway. Downloads needed: FireDaemon, MRTG 2.10.5, ActiveState Perl. You do not need to be a linux guru to do this. Just follow the cookbook at www.mrtg.org Win32 Install Guide.

Support the little guys
I’m pretty cheap-comes from years of experience as well as a genetic predisposition thanks to Grandpa Stahl. I usually shop at big corporate stores because I know they can usually offer better prices than the little guys.
