We’re heading to San Antonio in the morning. We’re planning to see the Alamo, the San Antonio Missions Nat’l Park and the River Walk. Anything more than that would be too hard in the heat.

We visited Zilker park this afternoon. We saw the “Splash” exhibit and the kids played on the Playscape for awhile. When they were good and sweaty, we brought them back to the apartment pool. We thought about swimming at Zilker but it was crowded. The apartment pools are always deserted and today was no exception.

We found a unique sounding restaurant on line while looking for someplace to eat downtown. It is Iron Works B-bque–located in a former iron works shop.
